If you can't find a specific asset in Portseido, you can request it to be added to our database. We regularly update our asset database to include new securities.

How to Check Asset Coverage

  1. Visit the Asset Search Page
  2. Enter the asset name or ticker in the search box to check if it's available

Understanding Asset Tickers

Different markets use different ticker formats. Here's how to identify the correct ticker:

  1. US Market Assets
  2. Use the standard ticker symbol (e.g. AAPL, MSFT)

  3. No market suffix needed for US-listed securities

  4. Non-US Market Assets

  5. Format: TICKER.MARKET

  6. Examples:

    • AAPL.TO - Toronto Stock Exchange
    • ADYEN.AS - Amsterdam Stock Exchange
    • VUSA.L - London Stock Exchange
    • BTC-USD - Bitcoin in USD
    • MC.PA - LVMH on Paris Stock Exchange
    • 9988.HK - Alibaba on Hong Kong Exchange

  7. Multi-Listed Assets

  8. Some securities are listed on multiple exchanges
  9. Verify the correct market suffix for your holdings VUSA

How to Request a New Asset

If you've confirmed your asset isn't available, you can request it:

  1. Go to the Home page
  2. Click the "Help" button and select "Feedback"
  3. In the feedback form, please provide:
  4. Full asset name
  5. Ticker symbol with market suffix (if applicable)
  6. Exchange where it's listed
  7. Asset type (Stock, ETF, etc.)
  8. Our team will review your request and add the asset if it meets our criteria
